Blue Ribbon Clear Medicine Bottle [Standard Glass Co.]

1909 Standard Glass Co. "Blue Ribbon Oval" advertisement.

Early 20th century clear, rectangular pharmaceutical bottle; Standard Glass Co. manufactured this bottle from 1907-1933, under their trademark, Blue Ribbon.  The company was acquired by Foster-Forbes Glass Company in 1933.

Text on front: "Quality" on the top, "Purity" on the bottom.

Text on back: "3ii" with measurement lines indicating amount cc's.  The numeral 3 appears oddly formed.

Text on the base of bottle: "BLUE RIBBON."
