An incredible amount of information regarding Old Spice bottles and Shulton can be found at Old Spice Collectibles.
Seam on both sides run to the lip of the bottle, cup-bottom mold.  Glass stopper on top.  This is the original ceramic Early American Old Spice bottle, manufactured by A.E. Hull Pottery Company in Crooksville, Ohio from 1938-1944.  After 1944, Shulton contracted T.C. Wheaton Glass Co. to manufacture their Old Spice bottles, from pottery glass rather than ceramic.
The base of this bottle features a small, circular indent in the very middle, as well as the obvious cup-bottom mold line.  There is a rectangular bit sticking out from the bottom.  Text circles the base, "EARLY AMERICAN OLD SPICE" with a small star following the word 'spice,' and then the "SHULTON, INC." logo.

Sure this isn't a Wheaton Glass OS bottle?
