Another Norwich Pharmaceuticals Co. glass bottle. The unique triangular shape tells me that this is a larger version of this Norwich Pepto-Bismol bottle indexed earlier. This product appeared for the first time in 1901.
Text on the base: The letter 'L' embossed in the middle, and the numerals '02' under that.
The simple 'L' mark most likely belongs to the Latchford Glass Company.

I have a shorter triangular bottle, similar to this, but the angles of the triangle are sharper. The only markings are on the bottom, 72 76. It has a whiteish plastic screw on lid. The neck is of course round it comes down about an inch and there's a visible ring before it flares out to the triangle. The triangular section is about 3½ inches tall.
ReplyDeleteAny ideas? Pepto bismol maybe?
