This is another example of Shulton's Early American Old Spice men's cologne or aftershave bottle. However, this bottle is made of pottery glass rather than ceramic (see an original ceramic Old Spice bottle here). The bottle stopper still has a slight bump at the top, and so must be from the early 1950s to 1956. During this time period, Shulton contracted T.C. Wheaton Glass Co. to manufacture the pottery glass bottles, dropping the original ceramic bottles manufactured by A.E. Hull Pottery Company.
The text on the base goes along the circumference of the base: "EARLY AMERICAN OLD SPICE", followed by a small star shape, and then ending with "SHULTON, INC."
